For those of you who haven't already noticed... we launched a new skin for the site yesterday to tie in with the festive season.
Depending on your browser settings you may need to hit "refresh" to get it to show, or you might need to go to the Skins page and select it if you have not got "always show the newest skin" selected in your settings.

The first of this years winter games.... Cold Storage has been released today!
You play as a yeti who has unfortunately been captured by a giant and thrown into his deep-freeze larder cave to save for a later date... You have to escape the cave-freezer by jumping and swinging on the metal hanging poles that the giant uses to store his other foodstuffs.

This game will have you firing arrows in a prehistoric game of archery. Compete against rival cavemen (and cavewomen) to beat each cup. There are 4 cups to get you started: Beginners Cup, Rock Cup, Balloon Cup and Bone Cup. Each has between 3 to 5 rounds and you can play all of them against easy medium or hard characters! We have a fifth cup coming soon and more to follow.
Win new types of arrow for beating each cup and use them to help you win the rounds or even against a friend in 2-player mode. There are also some special Premium Arrows which you can buy using your MochiCoins account. There are a few freebies just for logging in (plus this feature will keep your save data between computers too!)
Finally for those of you who liked the Cheats n' Treats from Twin Shot 2 we've also made a selection here.

It's been a while.... but we finally have a new game to share with you. Cave Chaos (originally called 'Rock Bottom' before a last minute change) takes you deep underground to a hidden world where the creatures have been deprived of sunlight for centuries. You must try to escape this subterranean eco-system before the rocks come crashing down around you! Time is of the essence in this cavernous platformer so get moving!

Also this month we have been sent an image of a Nitrome Monopoly board game by Chalsey which we think looks much more interesting than the normal version of the game!
Also after seeing the clay Toxic model by Conal that we featured in the blog back in March, Jenny has created a Toxic Claymation animation showing the yellow guy from Toxic battling with a lot of green Toxic goo! We would love to show you this video but the filesize was too large to feature on the website (We can feature YouTube videos in the blog now though.... more details coming soon).

We're excited to announce that Markus and Heather have been busy on a little update to the already very full-featured Twin Shot 2... and it's a freebie so you won't have to pay anything :)
We've added a selection of player skins to decorate your characters with. There are 5 of them: Demon, Shadow, Ghost, Statue and Tiger!
To get them all you have to do is sign up for a free MochiGames account, log in and then click on "store" in the game to download it. Please note: as with most Flash content you may need to clear your browser cache for the update to take effect.
Also worth mentioning is that if you sign up for a MochiGames account you will be able to play your game on any computer and still be able to access your unlocked levels - double bonus!
That's it go and play with your new characters! Hopefully MochiCoins will allow us to do even more cool stuff like this in the future :)

There are 50 Good levels to get through as well as some additional bonus levels you can find when you end a level with the Bonus powerup. Speaking of powerups you will want to try the new ones such as love arrows (which can be very infectious!). There are also a load of new monsters and traps to get firing at. Give the flying clouds a whirl... but watch out as the enemies can get in them too! There is a big boss battle at the end of the game so get your arrows ready for action!
If you like the Good levels (or if you finish them all and want more) in a first for our games you can actually purchase some more levels (a lot of people have requested this in the past so we finally found a way to do it). The Evil level pack is a whole new theme with 50 more levels featuring new monsters, traps, new music, a different boss battle and more! It costs 3000 MochiCoins for the Evil level pack which currently works out at $3.75 US Dollars (at the time of writing this works out at about 2.28 Pounds for the people in the UK and 2.64 EUR for our fans across Europe).
If you are stuck or you want to get even more out of the game in single or multiplayer mode then you might want to pick up the Cheats n Treats pack which has all kinds of goodies crammed in there. This is priced at 1000 MochiCoins which currently works out at $1.25 US Dollars (76 pence in the UK or 0.88 EUR across Europe). All prices are correct at the time of writing this but are subject to change over time.
There are several payment methods available and more should appear in the future. There are standard Credit Card and PayPal options, and there is SMS within the SuperRewards option for those of you wanting to pay on your mobile phone. Also using SuperRewards you are actually able to earn MochiCoins which can be used in Twin Shot 2 via a series of third-party advertisers offers.

Drumroll please... time to reveal the second pay-for element that will be available in Twin Shot 2: Good and Evil. For a small fee you will have access to a series of super-cool cheats n' treats.
Stuck on a level? Simple... skip to the next. Want to make things a little easier? Bang... just add a few more hearts for your character or turn on invincibility for a while. In fact while you're at it why not let your character fly for a while?
But I hear some of you saying: we don't want to make the game easier! Well that's ok we have stuff for you too! How would you like to play as a secret character? Have additional powerups? Make the game harder? Or maybe you just want to find out what fart-mode is?! Also there are some fun new multiplayer modes so if you like playing with a friend then this will enhance the experience.
Thanks for all of the feedback you have given us so far... it's ranged from the very enthusiastic to people who are a little more concerned. For the people who are concerned we just want to reinforce that this service will not detract from what we already do. Most games will remain completely free for the foreseeable future and any games that do use MochiCoins will contain a full complete experience equivalent to what you would normally expect from one of our games. You're not going to find yourself getting halfway through a game and then be asked to pay for more - the extras will all be self-contained level packs or extra features for people who just can't get enough of the initial content.
We would also like to point out that by buying extras you would be helping us to remain independant and will be helping fund new game development. We are hoping that through the funding these coins bring we will be able to offer more complex free and pay-for elements that we would never be able to offer before.
We're very excited about what the future holds... and we hope to continue making great games for all of you to play for a long time to come!
