Hi Nitromians!
We noticed over the weekend that some of you found bugs in level 18. Sorry for the long wait, we have just fixed the bugs so feel free to play till the end! :D
Bugs include:
Level completion flag on level 18 has been fixed meaning you can now complete the level!
There was also two checkpoint bugs which have now been fixed.
Also, there was a sound effects glitch when you stacked two boxes up on springs, which has been fixed as well.

We found this dusty old cart whilst clearing the store room. We had to hit it around a few times to get it to work but here it is in all its glitched glory.
Its certainly a 7 in one cart with a difference.

Hi Nitromians!
We know that we didn't give out a 'Friday Update' last week, so here is a quick bit of catch up information for you all!
We're currently working very hard to bring you some of the new games we have got in development. We know it has taken a little longer than our usual releases do, however we feel that when you see the game, you will understand where the time has been spent! :)
Some of you have also noticed that we are currently approaching our 100th game! This has also been taking a lot of our time and we will be very thrilled to show you what we have been doing when the time comes.
To avoid any confusion that people might have or how they have speculated, by our calculations, we consider our next game to be our 98th game so there will be two more games before the 100th game and any Steamlands update would not be included in the count. Also just to note that we have purposely not shown anything with regards to the 100th game... It's a secret! :)

We have just linked up the hearting functionality for the Top Games panel and the Hearted Games pages.
The Top Games are now controlled by the daily hearts that are received from all of you. The top five games hearted on the day will appear in this panel! Hearting will also affect the games on the 'hearted games' pages too! The hearted games pages Keep track of the most hearted games of all-time.
So keep hearting your favourite games! :D

Hi Nitromians,
We have been busy going through all of the great levels that you have sent in using the dev mode in Steamlands. Although there has been lots of levels that will make it into the game already, we feel that in order to get the balance right for an update, some feedback was required.
Our ideal plan for this update is to branch off in the map fairly early on with a new player route that starts off easy and gets harder just like in the original levels of the game.
We would like to see more levels which feature only content from earlier levels as well as the new weapons. Otherwise we will have to hold back the player levels from people that have only just started playing the game.
Some users have made levels with the emphasis of making visually compelling tanks with less focus on an idea that will make the levels fun to play. We applaud these tanks for being so spectacular, and may well make a gallery of them, but for a level to make it into the game we really want to see the emphasis on what makes the game fun and interesting to play.
To summarize, more easy levels that don't use elements from later in the game are really likely to make it earlier in the game and thus more visible. So if you want to get your levels seen then please send in levels like that :)

We recently received an email from a Nitromian who goes by the name of 'The Ringtailed Sly One' informing us about his amazing project - a Steamlands papercraft set!
The artwork is simply stunning in this papercraft artwork, we really can't believe the detail involved in the blocks! Also it looks like you can fit the characters into the steam engine room, which is a really nice touch!
'The Ringtailed Sly One' has taken dev mode to a whole new level and even created some items not in the game! :D
