Following on from last weeks 'Nitrome Must Die'-gate, we are thrilled with the amount of support we have been getting and we just wanted to highlight a few to show how much we appreciate and listen to peoples support.

The Mochis Award Show is now taking your game nominations to find the best flash games of 2011!
This is a great chance for you to choose your favourite flash games and help the developers out by nominating them for the award!
If you would like to nominate a Nitrome game for an award, feel free!
It says on the site that Mat will be a judge this year. If a Nitrome game gets nominated and goes through to the final selection, Mat won't be a judge... just to clarify - as he might have an unfair bias ;)
Voting will start once the game nominations have been narrowed down into the finalists... fingers crossed we might be there!

This is a quick update to tell you (well you may already know!) about the website currently undergoing some cosmetic changes. This is mainly to do with the adverts.
Changes:
The site layout has been made slightly wider and there is now a new advert size.
The featured block on the left of the site now shows a selection of games rather than our social pages and video previews.
You can now like us directly from our website by clicking the 'Like' button in the new Facebook block on the right of the site.
You can watch our latest video directly in the videos block and can go through to the videos page by clicking on the 'more videos' button. We also have a link to our youtube channel on the menu bar above the new advert.
Those are the main changes to the site. We might not keep the site the way it is now as we are still trialling the layout. We have also fixed the 'new games' and 'classic games' sections found on our short game pages.
We have tried to make sure the new changes have a minimum impact on your gaming experience but if you find any bugs within the new layout, feel free to email us telling us the browser you used, what happened and we will do our best to fix the problems.

This is a quick website update.
