Hi everyone!

We have moved office recently and have finally got all of the computers internal networking sorted out. As a result of moving, we haven't currently got access to a stable internet line from our new space. Please be patient, we will try to get any bugs that we have noticed with the site and games fixed as soon as we can!

Well, we were browsing the internet (as you do) and we stumbled upon a pretty light hearted article by Pocket Gamer "Angry Birds movie: 6 more iPhone games worthy of the film treatment".

We found the part about how Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage would make a great film. We all laughed when we saw that pocket gamer highlighted Andy Serkis as the voice of the trolls, but we thought that was an obvious choice. He makes for a great villain!

So this got us thinking. Who would you cast as the characters in Icebreaker and why? As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Great news Nitromians!

Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage has been selected by apple as its Free App of the week.

It will return to its full price next week, so if you have been unable to grab the paid version until now here's your chance.

We have no real intention to make large free games for mobile, but saw this as a rare opportunity to spread the Nitrome brand to a new audience. As apple doesn’t give this feature slot out very often we felt that it was worth the risk.

A huge HUGE thank you for those of you that have paid for the App already. Without this funding and your loyalty Nitrome would cease to exist today. All of your hard earned money will go towards funding other great games for our site and mobile.

We hope that you'll all join us in celebration for this great achievement as it will hopefully help us continue to be here for many years to come.

Great news! Icebreaker is FINALLY out on Amazon!

During the #nitromejam Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage silently released on the Amazon App Store for Kindle Fire devices. We weren't really expecting it to happen, as we had so many problems leading up to this point. We want to rectify that right now. So if you have a Kindle and have been feeling a little left out you can go now and find out what all the fuss has been about.

Another thing that happened during the #nitromejam was that an update launched across iOS for Icebreaker. We have fixed an issue which prevented people with the original iPad from being able to play the game anymore... sorry! This means they can finally play the Kraken pack, yippee. The issue also helps users that didn't want to upgrade their OS. There is a host of minor fixes that we put into the new build, so it's worth an update.

We also launched a new Android build which fixed a bunch of the most common issues people reported. The main offender was a bug which was causing players to lose their pars and coins from their game save. This issue was particularly hard to track down but we got there in the end ;)

We are looking at other issues people have been reporting and will continue to fix things where we can.

Next week we will be revealing some of the other things we have been working on. Until Monday have a great weekend.
